Intensive & Succession Planting

Summer Harvest

All this food was grown and harvested in less than 200 sq ft of growing space. The key is intensive planting and succession planting. Never leave your soil bare and constantly have crops in various stages of growth in your garden.

In spring, we are harvesting lettuce, kale, sugar snap peas, arugula, herbs and leafy greens but seeds have already been started for tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, eggplants and squash.

As garlic and onions are harvested in July, we direct sow beans, carrots, beetroot etc for a late summer, early fall picking, all the while enjoying tomatoes, cucumbers and other delicious summer veggies.

Always remember to replenish the soil with compost, organic matter or good quality potting soil, after harvesting and before planting a new round of crop and your garden will give you the most epic harvests ever!
